The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience liaising and interacting with customers, suppliers and project staff to meet delivery timescales. Working knowledge of process and document management is key as is the ability to work under pressure.

Education:
Secondary / higher technical.
Experience:
- Expediting of manufacturing of equipment at Oil and Gas equipment manufacturers (≥ 3 years);
- Experience in interaction with suppliers and subcontractors, monitoring of compliance with production and/or delivery terms.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry standards and requirements for manufacturing/ fabrication of equipment, as well as key processes such as welding, non-destructive testing (NDT) and application of protective coatings;
- Review the project documentation for agreement with the customer and /or project management organisation;
- Review purchase materials order from manufacturers and ensure timely delivery of materials;
- Verification of the manufacturer production schedule and compliance with the production milestones at different stages;
- Broker manufacture schedule and resource revisions to ensure on-schedule completion;
- Verify client approval status of Vendor prepared documentation;
- Monitoring the status of production;
- Ensure compliance with the terms of shipment and delivery;
- Preparation of technical reports;
- Confident PC user: MS Office, work with the Internet;
- Advanced communication skills, ability to communicate with suppliers, customers;
- Willingness to travel.
